Texas Sports Medicine Center was the first hospital-based sports medicine program in the greater Houston area. It was developed in response to the need for specialized treatment and rehabilitation of sports-related injuries.
Today, the center has 35,000 square feet of space and provides a wide variety of sophisticated physical therapy equipment and the latest conditioning exercise equipment to help patients recover as fully as possible from injuries and to help prevent injuries in the first place.
Amateur athletes, professional athletes, coaches and private doctors view it not only as the first in sports medicine, but also the foremost. Our athletic trainers, physical therapists and fitness educators have served the demanding needs of athletes from all levels of competition, in addition to those people needing rehabilitation for injuries sustained at home, work or play.
