Our Approach to Stroke Care

At Tomball Regional, we employ a team approach to the time-critical process of evaluating and treating the patient having a stroke. Calling 911 and an initial evaluation by a paramedic starts the team in motion. The paramedic evaluates the patient’s symptoms and calls the emergency department to activate the award-winning stroke center team members, who ensure rapid access to diagnostic tests, a critical care room, nurses and doctors.
