TRH Patient Education Channels
Patients can access TRH Patient Education Channels on the televisions located in patient rooms. Patient Education Channels provide patients access to information regarding cancer, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, stress, and other healthcare topics.

In addition to the programs offered by Education Department, Tomball Regional Medical Center offers a variety of other educational opportunities:
Tomball Regional Medical Center partners with VHA Southwest and other accredited programs to provide multiple CME programs to the medical staff on an annual basis.
Continuing Professional Education – Internships, Residencies, and Fellowships
The focus of Tomball Regional Medical Center’s education programs is to train competent, caring healthcare professionals who will be fulfilled by their healthcare careers. We partner with several entities to offer internships, residency and fellowship programs.
Residency Programs
Podiatry Residency:
- Established in 2005, affiliated with Lepow Foot and Ankle Specialists
- Residents rotate through surgical procedures and round with our attending podiatrists
Fellowship
Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellowship, sponsored by Tomball Regional Medical Center and administered by Conroe Medical Education Foundation has accepted its first Fellow in July 2006. The fellowship program is a 1-year engagement where the fellow gains experience in orthopedics, radiology, nutrition, physical and occupational therapy and rehabilitation. The fellow is trained to manage or treat many active people with an emphasis on safe return to play after illness or injury. In addition, the fellow will also be involved in many research projects related to fitness and concussion management for athletes.
